first steps

The First Steps program is designed for families who are unsure or unable to run intensive Applied Behaviour Analysis programs at home.

Based on the Early Start Denver Model, First Steps is a consecutive 12-week program with one-on-one sessions for your child and extensive parent training.

The aim of the program is to empower you to teach your child and be a partner in their learning. The skills you learn can be applied at home and we’ll educate you about how you can help your child to communicate and play. It also provides a solid introduction to early intervention, understanding assessments and supporting your child in their educational settings.

Recognising the impact a learning impairment can have on the whole family, our team of qualified technicians, practitioners and program managers work with you and your child to achieve the best possible outcomes.
